Look: Indoor Grass!
Austin

100208wheatgrass-02.jpg Living in a small apartment (and even some small houses) can sometimes mean living without a nicely sized lawn. And while our idea for you today isn't exactly large enough to frolick through, it'll certainly provide some nice indoor visuals...

100208wheatgrass-03.jpg This isn't just any indoor plant; it's wheatgrass! A lovely flat planter filled with wheatgrass and placed on your window ledge will bring a shot of green to your space and give you a nice "lawn" to gaze over! Wheatgrass seeds can be found at most plant stores and nurseries, so check your local one.

100208wheatgrass-01.jpg Not only gorgeous to look at, some people find wheatgrass to have healthy benefits when digested. Most homeowners who grow their own wheatgrass do so to have it for juicing. And while we love that it's healthy for you, we really love the way it looks! Grown properly, this stuff sprouts quickly and is pretty easy to care for once you get the hang of it.

100208wheatgrass-04.jpg Are you a wheatgrass grower or consumer? Let us know! Tell us how you grow or use wheatgrass in your home (or at the juice bar!).

I grow wheat grass for my indoor cats. They love it and it's good for their digestion.
