I remember my grandma reading this, and years later when I saw it at the grocery check-out I thought it was an "old people" magazine. I picked it up one day out of boredom - boy was I ever wrong!!! It gave me a whole new insight into my beloved (and now gone) grandma. I knew she was a wonderfully complex person with with interests that spanned the universe - this was just one more thing added to it. I've enjoyed reading this magazine, and feel a little closer to her everytime I do. I'd love to have a subscription.

sunset magazine looks like its had a makeover recently... so much better than it used to be. Also an emphasis on DIY especially for garden projects.
