Smile Tumblers by Ryoko Yagi

Ryoko Yagi is an architecture graduate and artist who makes theses absolutely adorable glass objects. My sister sent me one of Yagi’s cute and cheeky Smile Tumblers, but not only did the hand-blown glass get me excited, so did all the goodies that came with it: a hand felted coaster made of raw wool, photos turned-post cards, vintage seed packets, and even a Japanese KIT KAT bar. While it’s probably too late to ship her items in time for Valentine’s Day, we think her tumblers would make someone smile anytime…

Not only does Yagi make the glass goodies and felted coasters, but her mom also helps with the hand sewn and embroidered smile bags and fabric coasters. Inventory on her Etsy site seems to be sporadic, but we hear that she takes custom orders. Check out her Flickr page, Etsy shop, and Studio for more fun!
