Dear Re-nest,

With all of us handy folks in the audience, I'd love to see what people say about the best/proper way to dispose of old, scrapped off paint? I've read all about how to properly dispose of liquid paint but cannot find info on how (or where) to get rid of old, flaky chunks of paint.

Can I add, on a related note, this question:
How do I "catch" the old paint I need to scrape off my eaves? I was thinking drop cloths, but shrubs will be in the way in some places. I don't want to let it all fall on the ground.
