Safe Green Water Jug? Good Question | Apartment Therapy Re-Nest

Q: If I want to purchase my water at a Sparkletts water station outside my grocery store, what kind of plastic jug is available that is green, safe and reusable? The Brita water filter just does not work for me and I want to keep a jug in the fridge to fill up my little reusable bottles. Would love some advice!

Editor: You'll want to look for a BPA-free plastic water jug. A few examples we know of include this BPA-free Travel Gallon Water jug from Bed Bath and Beyond (with a pour spout) and this BPA-free 1 gallon water jug from Enviro Products, available through Amazon.
