What To Do With Concrete Column In My Dining Room?
Good Question

loft-concrete-column.gifQ: I have a structural concrete column in my house which I would like to make less of an eye sore. It's in the middle of my dining-living area. Any suggestions for what can be done to it?

You could cover it with a flexible stone veneer http://www.txtr-lite.com/products.htm

We had an unattractive pillar in our house apartment. We wrapped it in brown paper, bought some fake palm fronds and turned it into a palm tree.

Not knowing what the rest of the room looks like or how it is laid out....THE BEST and i mean "THE BEST" way to make something anything disappear is to make it a tool for what you want to be seen. This would be using a mirror putting in lighting that points to something else like art or your coffee table or a walk way rug just as with people, it goes with decor "so long as you're pointing at someone else no one is looking at you"
