This question is from Kelly:
I just pulled out my Christmas decorations today and found two strands of lights that were not working. Can these be recycled? I really hate to just throw stuff like this away. thanks

Yep. You can recycle old Christmas lights! Here's one way (which we just read about at GreenLAGirl): Send them to Holiday LEDs. They have a Christmas Light Recycling Program.

Does anyone know of any other ways to recycle old Christmas lights?

Very cool...and they give you a coupon for 15% off their LED lights.

supposedly Ace Hardware will recycle them. It was in an article about how to recycle misc. items.

Throw them in the campfire/fireplace and watch the "show" you get!
