Robin just sent us this question: I was watching HGTV's "Living with Ed." The program featured solatube lighting, now on my wish list for an attic bathroom remodel. I was also interested in the wind turbine for electricity, but could not find a site with a similar unit. Can you help?

Dear Robin,
Actually ... we can help. We're not tight with Ed or anything (yet); however, we happened to catch that episode also, so we know exactly what you're talking about.

First, we hope you get your dream attic bathroom remodel: Solatubes rock our world. Second, we found the wind turbine! It didn't take too much hunting. The good people over at the "Living with Ed" web site actually publish episode guides. The episode guide to "I Spy Bill Nye" (the episode in question), says that Ed got his wind turbine from a company called Pacwind.

We're pretty sure that the model Ed went with was the SeaHawk.

Very cool stuff. How many "Living with Ed" watchers do we have out there anyway?

I'm one! And he's a spokesman for PacWind, too, I believe.
