
Cambria and I visited this wall this very morning. It's alive and you'll see the whole apartment soon in an upcoming tour. But check this out: Over 400 plants are planted here in 80 square feet and it's watered on a timer by a drip irrigation system. One more pic and video of installation below....





It's a beautiful dividing wall, and Maxwell, since you were there, did the owners talk at all about any extra humidity in the space when all the windows are closed, or a smell of wet wool (or whatever the perforated fabric is that they "planted" into)? I'm curious about how these living walls are to, well, live with. Looking forward to the house tour!

can't wait to learn about the actual materials involved in the wall construction. I have been researching growing panels to see whether or not they could be used for smaller applications.
