We've never forgotton this green rug we first spotted over at AT:LA. It really does look just like grass! Not sure what it's made of (probably wool). What do you think about the look?

my pup would love it! it looks fun & whimsical. Design doesn't have to be serious.

Love it! I have been looking for a green shag rug like this. Anyone know where I can get one?

I LOVE it! Could be too much in some rooms, obviously. But it's like a flokkati, only not white, which always makes clumsy old me cringe just a bit.
I definitely want one of these. Sources? (Of course, won't apply to me cos I'm in Australia, but still...)

Been drooling over this one at CB2 for quite some time: http://www.cb2.com/family.aspx?c=170&f=5143

These are pretty easy to find here in Israel. I love the fantasy of an indoor space that feels like the outdoors, though I don't think I'd want my living room to feel grassy. I've toyed with the idea of using really nice, deep, soft, grass-like astroturf in a nursery... does anyone know of anyone who has tried this? (Seriously, we have astroturf here that is great to walk on with bare feet, and it seems easy to clean!)

Afraid the dog would pee on it- otherwise thumbs up!

It looks like polypropylene to me. I have the CB2 version of it and that's what it is.

I LOVE this! We tried finding something like this for an upstairs bedroom years ago in our big old farmhouse. We'd taken out a wall between two tiny rooms, painted all white, planted a clump birch in the backyard with one of the two windows framing it. We had the outdoors 'in' with the carpet we settled on: a two-tone green that we felt closely mimicked grass. This would've been even closer. I wish I had seen this one back then. In summer the indoors and outdoors blended in the most pleasing way. No curtains allowed this.
