Green Style: Rooftop Garden Home in Toronto

Described as “compact, ecologically smart, affordable and successfully integrated within a diverse streetscape," this two-story home designed by Levitt Goodman Architects features large windows that provide plenty of natural light and look directly out onto the home's main attraction: a lush rooftop garden and lots of outdoor living space.

I am inviting myself to this sweet home :)

Beautiful place. I love how the garden beds are right outside the windows.

I would stub my toe on that horse every day.

Absolutely spectacular home.
I love the green wrapped all around it.

That's funny I was thinking I've seen this beautiful place before and then I saw my comment from December, hehe. Yep a beautiful place! I want a roof garden one day, perfect inspiration. I'm definitely saving the page this time around!

it's a gorgeously redone home, but let us not kid ourselves. a tear-down on euclid ave. in toronto likely costs about $500K, and that rebuild looks to have cost probably $300K or more. it's not "affordable" unless you're 2 lawyers.

but yes gorgeous. i want to live there.

I also read a book on how to make a great organic garden, this would be soooo simple to apply!
I think I will try it on my rooftop in montreal!
