So, maybe we're taking the "green" part of our daily style post a bit too literally, but oh well. As we wrote about earlier today, sometimes the best way to be green is reusing what's already there — working with the bones of your original/traditional home. We think that's what they did here in this kitchen. What we love about this photo is not only the gorgeous green and blue color palette, but the small vintage-looking stove and cupboards. They could have replaced the old stove and cupboards when they updated the tile with something swanky and new, but keeping it creates a nice mixture of old and new...

This photo looks like one I saw from an series showing tile options from a moroccan manufacturer. All of the other photos that were on the site showed interiors and exteriors that were in morocco. I can't find the original site.Where did this photo come from? I love these tiles.

I love the blue and green tiles, the blue is especially fabulous. It's good they kept the stove - why fix or change what ain't broke? That is totally my renovation philosophy, which is convenient because I don't have the money to go changing things.
