Engineered Flooring by EcoTimber

Engineered flooring has gotten a bad rap because of its thin veneer counterparts, but FSC-certified EcoTimber flooring is out to change that misconception with its 3.6mm wear layer, providing enough solid wood for several refinishings…

Engineered wood floors are good because only the top layer uses solid wood while the base layers are typically comprised of scrap woods. Because the overall product is thinner than solid wood at 3/8” instead of 3/4”, engineered wood is well suited for radiant floor heating. The thinner material allows more heat to pass, while the cross-ply construction provides enough dimensional stability for the temperature fluctuations.

EcoTimber flooring is available in a wide range of floor finishes: Classics such as Oak, Maple and Hickory; Elements (white oak available in a variety of stains); Hand Scraped for a distressed and rustic appearance; and Bamboo. All the EcoTimber flooring is FSC certified, made with a formaldehyde-free adhesive and is low-VOC.
