TING Vintage Belt Floor Mat

Remember TING?

They're the ones who make those cool pillows and hammocks out of seat belts. Well, we have no place for a hammock, but we did just come across this floor mat. It's a little pricey, but we love the warm colors.

This TING Vintage Belt Floor Mat ($688) is made from recycled leather belts, on a backing of reconstituted leather. It's even held together using a water-based glue.

If the price were a little lower, we could see this in our entryway. Do you think you could duplicate the look with thrifted belts?

(And, if you really like it, we just heard that TING will also be selling vintage belt flooring!)

Great Idea but Yeash the price is crazy! I agree. I'm headed over to the thrift store and pick up some belt and do it myself.

Oh, I have loved this since the moment I laid eyes on it long ago, but they are way out of line pricing it that high. Definitely could be done with thrifted belts, and you can use a much less pricey backing.
