Natural Wooden Hottubs from SeaOtter Woodworks

2-6-09hottub3.jpgI'm not sure what it is about hot tubs, but I love them - especially during the winter. They seemed rather prevalent back in California but now living in North Carolina, I can't find them anywhere. I know they're not the most efficient use of energy (maybe this is my , but photos of these hot tubs made from natural wood had me dreaming of a warm soak.

These wooden hot tubs are crafted out of Western Red Cedar wood, using only natural materials, and look great wherever you put them. They blend in nicely in natural settings and fit nicely with decks. A cedar wood hot tub can be used as a quiet soaking tub or can be made with jets. Made by SeaOtter Woodworks, they offer a couple different heating solutions, including a wood burning stove.

There's a hot tub place in Asheville, NC. And if you're ever in Boston - I own a wellness spa in which we use 2 wooden hot tubs. We used Roberts Hot Tubs, out of CA, but the tub assembly was relatively the same. (and the place in Boston is called Inman Oasis.)

I agree - a soak in the wooden tub is divine!

I recently bought a hot tub. It was kinda pricey (a couple grand) but it was well worth the cost. I think of it like an investment in myself. Joshua wooden hot tubs
