Does your kitchen-scrap compost pail stink? Ours does. Apparently the airtight Biopod would solve that problem using something called vacuum ionisation (which slows the decomposition of the food).

Um isn't the point of composting to have the food broken down? a good container with an airtight lid keeps the smell out too (I use an old kitty-litter bucket)

That's what I was thinking Hollie... I guess it's supposed to just keep it from rotting while it's actually in your kitchen. And yeah, there are many containers you can get for practically free that will solve the problem.
