What happens if the dog decides to go after a squirrel? YIKES! On a bike I can understand. But on a skateboard? That said...I did try rollerblading with my pup about a year ago. She took off like a bolt of lightening and not wanting to lose her, I held on to the leash and got my center of gravity as close to the ground as possible. It was terrifying, yet strangely exhilarating. We enrolled in training and we have only tried it again once: sans-leash it was a much better experience.

LOL my dog is a Pomeranian, she's a sassy one and would just look at me like "who you kiddin, girl?!?!" LOL

I think this is rediculous, most dogs have a hard enough time staying by your side when on a walk, unless trained - like seeing eye dogs - most dogs won't comprehend that they can't just go wherever they want like on a normal leash. LOL

I have two greyhounds, and I really don't want to go 40mph down the sidewalk on a scooter/trike/skateboard!

as if we aren't lazy enough as it is that we would have rely on our dogs to get around? this is silly. get out and exercise w/ your dog.

This only makes sense if the dog is properly trained to transport a physically handicapped person.

Otherwise, it just looks like a cruel experiment by a lazy pet owner.
