Hot or Not? Doily Lighting by Caitlin Holcomb

Do you have a lot of old doilies in a cabinet somewhere ... maybe in a chest, collecting that funky mothball smell? You could turn them into lighting, like Caitlin Holcomb's done. What do you think?

I think it looks cute, but it seems like it would get really dusty (especially in NYC apartments...).
