How is this not just a washbasin with handles, again?
That said, it caused me to realize that, rather than getting some kind of fancy greywater recycling system, I could just put an appropriately sized receptacle in the sink, and use what collects to water the plants, flush the toilet, etc.

I'd rather someone take my breath away than my sink.

I could see this being useful for a laundry room.

Come to think about it: how about a tub with handles that screw off. Then a top that screws on that has a handle and a spout. The spout can have another screw on for sprinkling. Any takers?

thx for linking the other pix, Liz
The basin has a plug and appears to be hooked into conventional plumbing.

How is this not a gimmick? Would it be used in a laundry room?

Love the concept for a powder room or a laundry sink. Definitely not practical for a kitchen, though.

This picture shows the sink to be much more functional.
