Hot or Not? Marjetica Potrč’s Post-Katrina Shotgun Houses

10-27-2008hotornot.jpgAccording to Wikipedia, shotgun style houses were the "most popular style of house in the Southern United States from the end of the Civil War (1861–65), through to the 1920s." It's worth mentioning that shotgun houses have excellent airflow, thus reducing a need for air conditioning or electric fans - very important in a hot climate.
