Hot or Not? Recharge Mower

Now that McMansions are out of style, we're not sure how necessary ride mowers are going to be in the near future. But, if you do need one for some reason, an electric version makes a lot of sense. Get more details and vote after the jump.

The Recharge Mower ($2,195) can be completely charged overnight, runs for 3 hours on a full battery, connects to a standard wall outlet, is described as "extremely quiet," needs no gas or oil, and produces no emissions. We still like reel mowers, but this might be a nice option if you were stuck with a giant lawn.

I love how the mower in the picture is sitting in front of a McMansion. That lifestyle offsets the efficiency of an energy-efficient mower, if you ask me.

Agreed! My plan is to have a yard small enough to manage with a reel mower. Other plants will be food, wildlife-friendly and/or low-maintenance decorative.
