It's an umbrella stand and a potted plant in one. The residual water that drips off the umbrella waters the grass.
What do you think? Is it hot or not?

Perhaps if you live in a place where umbrellas are a common tool. Around here the grass would die pretty quick!

i like the concept but wouldn't the tip get all muddy? and this would have to be outside or the water would drip all over the entryway before you got it to the stand...

Without plenty of sun, wouldn't the grass die?

that would take up a whole lot of space, considering its just for umbrellas

I like it better than the one that grows moss. For some reason that kindof grossed me out.

I dunno . . . I think you'd have to live in a place where it rains all the time or the grass wouldn't get enough water. Seattle probably gets enough rain, but the problem is that it rains so much there that nobody bothers with umbrellas!
