How To: Make Woven Felt Placemats

We love these colorful, pretty handmade felt placemats, and think they would make a fun unique addition to your summer table. The Purl Bee has an easy, no-sew tutorial. This is a great rainy day project if we've seen one...

Materials:

  • Six 18-inch x 18-inch pieces of Ecru Wool Flannel (color of 91)
  • Two Wool Felt Bundles (he bundles pictured above are, clockwise from top left: Spring, Dahila, Water, and Spice).
  • OK-To-Wash-It Fabric Glue
  • Water soluble fabric marker

We used to make these in grade school, albeit ours were always themed around some holiday color. :)
