Just in case SchubLaden’s drawer front furniture is too pricey for your wallet, we’ve found a good-looking and easy way to make your own drawer storage. Salvaged drawers are cheap and easy to find —often free on sites like Craigslist or Freecycle. We found this great project on Craftynest, and think it’d be easy for anyone to try...
The great thing about this project is the drawers can be easily rearranged and moved when you feel like changing things up. All you need are some drawers, paint, decorative paper and a few construction tools.
Check out Craftynest for more photos and full instructions.

what a clever idea, I love it! such an innovative way to make something unwanted into something useful, plus you can coordinate it with your colour scheme and re-paint at a later date if you get bored.
I love freecycle and use it all the time, such a great way to keep furniture out of landfill.

I'd like to see a whole wall of them. Makes me think of Louise Nevelson.....

Seems clever, but I'd be concerned about them toppling in an earthquake. I've strapped all of my bookcases to the wall, as they came with equipment to do so. I don't know how you'd do that with the top drawers.
