Pause, designed by Okooko, is crafted from sustainable New Zealand Rimu with aluminum detailing. The optional iPod dock swivels 360 degrees for easy access and features the Bose Companion 3 system.
The Bose system includes two speakers and a small remote control that's tucked into the wood shelf and can accept headphones if you don't want to bother your sleeping partner -- though we guess you could just take the iPod out of the dock and plug in your headphones...

ok, but what happens when the electronics in the frame go bad, or the shape of the ipod changes and no longer fits in there, or you get some other music player...
how long is this bedframe supposed to last? 15, 25 years? and it's permanently attached to a piece of technology that will be obsolete long before then? however sustainably grown, if not sustainably used what is the point of the wood that goes into a product like this?
i guess i just don't understand why we need everything to be attached, all-inclusive, 10-in-one. especially with how quickly this kind of technology changes.
