Digi-Garden Hack: Using Broken dSLRs as Plant Pots

061909_nikon_garden.jpgEvery so often, we find ourselves regrettably dropping our dSLRs into jacuzzis, down mountain slopes, or leaving them in the hands of babies - none of which results in a reversible outcome, as you might have guessed. But that doesn't mean you can't make the best of it. Be like Dr. Cullen and get creative! When his Nikon unfortunately met its end, he decided to transform it into a little planter for some of his small herbs...

We're pretty sure the bottom lens must have been intact before attempting such a feat, but it's still quite clever nonetheless. C'mon, you know that mix of green and tech makes your heart bubble with joy.

How about just getting it fixed?

I'm with Tel. If you don't want to get it fixed, sell it on ebay as broken, get something back for it, and buy a plant pot that is actually aesthetically appealing.

Additionally, I really can't imagine anyone thinking anything but absurdities at finding plants growing out of cameras in my house. This just doesn't make sense.
