Green Mosquito Control: Bat Houses by Vixen Hill

5-21-2009bats.jpgWe don't have many issues with mosquitoes here in the Bay Area of California — at least not in Berkeley; however, if we did, we'd consider a bat house. (Although we've never seen a bat out here either ...)

Bats can eat their weight in insects. And they really like mosquitoes ...

Bats are a natural way to fight off mosquitoes, which can be a huge buzzkill in the summer months in some areas of the U.S. And even though we have an irrational fear of bats, we'd choose them over all the nasty ingredients in most bug sprays!
