Moth-Away Herbal Moth Repellent

6-16-08-mothaway.jpg
Now is the time of year we start packing away our winter clothes (a little later than usual actually, but we're not bitter). If we want to wear those clothes again in the fall, we also have to think about warding off moths before our wool sweaters leave our sight, and mind.

We found these sachets at Storables, and their contents are simple and fragrant — cloves, peppermint, rosemary and thyme. The claim is that each sachet works for 1 cubic foot of space, but we wonder if more bang for one's buck couldn't be had by recreating it on our own with fresh herbs.

$4 for two sachets here.

I tried it with the essential oils of the said herbs instead of fresh herbs and it worked wonder. Plus, it smells really good!

Thumbs up!
