Our interest in all things green has garnered us some unusual presents before, but these Bambu Sporks (we've covered their more conventional dinnerware before) are oddly delightful. We're not sure we'll use them for their intended purpose... but we've come up with a few ideas for how to use these weird little things...
Bambu Sporks?
Our first idea was to write on them with a permanent marker and stick them in the ground as seed markers.
With some inspiration, we considered drilling a hole at the top and turning them into droppy-dos for a mobile or bamboo chandelier.
And then we realized that we could slot the sporks into one another to make a bigger module, which is oddly sculptural. We're not sure what to do with these, though.
Any ideas for a future how-to?

why is it that anything made of bamboo is green? isn't it in plastic anyway?
my point is this: wouldn't it be greener to focus on not consuming things that we have no use for? & if we do, don't call it green simply b/c it's made of bamboo.
instead of focusing on buying these new "green" products, why not consider buying vintage or slightly used things. it's way cheaper anyway & that's another kind of green. hehe
*ps- i realize you guys didn't buy it. just giving some food for thought.

We love bamboo sporks! I carry mine around (along with my reusable bag and reusable cup) so that I'm never stuck taking a plastic fork when I'm eating on the run. It weighs nothing and takes up no space... and is just the cutest eating implement ever. :)
