Valentine's Day is tomorrow. We're not usually overly concerned about this particular holiday -- but it is a nice opportunity to show your friends, family, and significant other that you love 'em.
Cards are always nice. But if you want to go one step further, consumables -- like wine and chocolate -- are always winners. And, while you're at it, why not buy Fair Trade Certified?
We recently got a press release from TransFair USA reminding us that, although Fair Trade Certification started with coffee, it now covers wine, chocolate, and flowers -- the Valentine's Day trifecta.
We even sampled some fair trade chocolate -- a "Divine" white chocolate bar with strawberries. And, considering the fact that we're generally dark chocolate people, we were very impressed. (Last minute Valentine's shoppers can grab one of these bars at any Borders Book Store.)
As for last minute wine ... Fair Trade Certified wine is now available at affordable places like Target and Sam's Club.
