Cork is making a comeback in a big way. We've seen it pop up all over the place — in flooring, wall displays, stools, and lamps. Cork is harvested from the bark of a cork tree (without injuring the tree) and is naturally comfortable, resilient, durable, lightweight and hypoallergenic. Here we roundup some of our favorite cork images. See them below the jump...

Oooh the round cork trivets on the wall is a great idea! They have them in packs at Ikea. Definitely going to be an inspiration for my entryway...

Anyone know where the bed in the top photo is from? Might it be the Muir bed (recycled wood)? Whoever made it, I really like it.

Oh! Cork flooring :) I can't wait to have my own house again so I can put down cork floors. Easy on the feet and legs (boo hiss on hard floors---I'd like to bean whoever thought ceramic tiles were a good idea on the floor).

Cork floors are warm in the winter and cool in the summer, and have natural sound-dampening properties. Good around computer because they kill static electricity.
