Thai Garbage House

Thai architect, Rachaporn Choochuey, stumbled upon this house on the edge of the largest garbage disposal site in Bangkok. Talk about making something from nothing...

The home was built by its occupant, a man in his 40's who has never built anything before. Even though the house is crafted from scraps of another man's junk, it has been made into a treasure. Just goes to show that no matter how small the resources at hand, care can always be given to create a thing of beauty. See the rest of the house at Choochuey's blog, Phi Phi Design Workshop.
