In Case You Missed It: Solar Lighting at Ikea

032409 solig pendant.JPGWhile the Ikea Summer 2009 sneak peek at AT LA had us lusting over the Arholma outdoor sectional, what we didn't, and should have taken a closer look at, was the solar lighting selection. We are yet to see the Ikea priced solar panels that we blogged about before, but there are definitely some stylish and affordable options when it comes to off the grid lighting for your deck this summer....

Ranging from $9.99 to $19.99, there is a choice of post lights, up lights and some nice hanging globe and pendant style lights. All of these lights have an auto on/ off switch so when the sun goes down they automatically come on. Check them out below.

I want them all. There's not an outlet for a night light in my bathroom so I use a solar light that I set outside on the porch all day, then bring in at sundown to put in my bathroom. It's a bit of a chore to remember, but it provides nice soft light all night long. "Solig" would be a lot classier :)

We have five! I went a little crazy because at our IKEA, the boxes were completely empty at the top of the pallet and I had to dig and open a new box. That motivated me to get the full selection I wanted.
