Solar Light Collection Coming from Ikea

With spring nearly here and summer just around the corner, what better to help set the mood for your outdoor parties and barbecues than some solar powered lights from Ikea. And they're hitting the ground running with 8 different options in their Solig collection.

While they're not yet available to purchase, you can view them online at Ikea's Web site.

There are outdoor posts, strings of paper lanterns, accent lighting, pathway globes and even a solar powered desk lamp. The cute table lanterns aren’t solar powered, but they are rechargeable. All iterations come with LED lights, which of course use less energy and last longer than regular bulbs.

Besides the joy of having them solar powered, the convenience of not having to run cords is wonderful. And since they're Ikea, they'll be reasonably priced. I'm thinking the hanging lanterns are coming out just in time to use at our wedding next Fall!
