Tea Cup Lighting by Domestic Construction

3-5-2009teacups.jpgJust when we thought we were over lighting made from salvaged objects (we've seen a lot of it lately), we stumbled on these lights over at Haute*Nature.

We're smitten.

Domestic Construction, a "multi-disciplinary design studio," makes beautiful hanging lamps out of coffee mugs and tea cups ... and sells them on Etsy. The cups come from thrift stores and flea markets and end up in whimsical little clusters.

We're totally in love with the Ted cluster ($350) -- probably because it reminds us of the tea cups at Aunt Esther's house.

What do you think?
