Last time I was at Target, before Christmas, I bought refills for Method hand soap in this packaging. Very cool.

Two things:

1) As opposed to a bottle, I assume a pouch is much less reusable for other applications, so...

2) Is the pouch recyclable?

This is greenwashing! There is nothing environmentally friendly about liquid soap, no matter how much less landfill the pouch takes up - transporting water is just not on, and using a product that has to come in plastic packaging when there is a perfectly good alternative (i.e. a good old fashioned bar of soap with no packaging at all) is not on either!
