Look! Recycled Wood Crates for Cabinet Organization

10_27_2008-tea.jpg1.jpgWe had some serious cabinet chaos thanks to an overabundance of tea and coffee. These simple wooden crates we picked up for less than a dollar each at the local salvage store did the trick...

10_27_2008-tea.jpg2.jpgTo attach them, we used a cordless drill to make holes: larger ones in the crate, smaller ones in the cabinet door. Then we used some 3/8" screws to attach the crates to the door. Now two rows of tea boxes fit at the back of the cabinet, and the tea we use most often sits in the door. It's a solution that's simple, effective, and truly affordable.

I have done something similar - my medicine cabinets are very deep so I reused small boxes and crates to group things together (all my hand and feet care stuff is in one, makeup brushes in another, etc.)
Works awesome.
