Apartment Therapy Re-Nest | Look! A Toy Car Collection Parked in a Window

A truckload of, well, toy trucks, is on display in a window in New York's West Village. We've discussed how to display collections before, but passing by this one was a reminder that all kinds of objects can be attention-grabbers, especially to nosy neighbors!

Putting a collection on top of a glass cake plate or empty jar is a sure-fire way to draw attention, and, of course, putting it in the window for all the world to see helps, too!

Passing by this was a reminder that it doesn't have to be objects usually considered beautiful, like shells, but can really be anything. We love the bright colors and sense of play.
