We went out for beers last night at a local saloon, and were happy to see this bike rack when we walked up. Remember when we were lamenting that our city didn't offer enough bike racks? This may still be true on the north side of town where we live, but not downtown.
This might be a bit of a big DIY undertaking, but if you have some unrideable frames lying around (a lot of folks find frames in the dumpster)...
It might just take a little bit of welding experience to put one of these together.
Since we have no bike storage outside of our apartment, we'd like to build this rack with just two frames. What a cool way to chain up our grocery-getters outside (we have a total of four bikes between the two of us). This is definitely a project we'd like to take on, but aren't sure where to start. What do you think?
