Look! Repurposed Vintage Metal Ceiling Tiles

Take a gander at these gorgeous reincarnations. These vintage metal ceiling tiles were found at a junk shop and purchased for about $5 total (there's something to be said for small-town junk shops). They got a pick-me-up with some cleaning, and were cut into pieces that would fit wall space in this mudroom, complimented by vintage doorknobs and other antiques. One piece got extra-special treatment--jump below to see just what.

Compliments go to my mother, who saw these ceiling tiles and knew they could serve an even higher purpose. The coat rack will be getting lots of use while we're home for the holidays!
