We just happened upon this photo, while browsing through Bay Area hotels.
We absolutely love the way they've used vintage suitcases as the base for a large table in the lobby.
Look! Suitcase Table at Oakland's Waterfront Hotel
We think this could be easily adapted as a smaller landing strip -- it'd look great just inside our front door.
But where would you find the suitcases? Thrift stores? Ebay?
