Look! Tin Can Vase

With creative reuse as our theme this month, we learned how to use tin cans as storage in the bathroom. But we were surprised (and delighted) to spot them filled with flowers during a candle-lit dinner last night.

We dined at Italian restaurant, Fiore, located in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. We highly recommend it for it's yummy food (I had fish "meat" balls!) and affordable prices. The tin cans reminded me of painting in art class as a kid--remember dipping your paint brush in water held in tin cans? They were a charming, rustic touch for a city that's so fast-paced sometime.

Artichoke hearts? Stewed tomatoes? We'll never know.
