Look! Trash Turned Toy

Take a look at this simple image we found browsing Flickr pools: it's a recycled toy made from plastic bags. Now, before you gasp and exclaim "That's not safe for kids!" let me tell you what makes this image so special...

The photo was taken in Africa, and the photographer's caption reads: "Found all over Africa, these are the balls that children create out of old trash to play soccer."

This may be the next best thing to a soccer ball--likely a luxury item where these children live. And yes, we'd recommend keeping an eye on the kiddos while they play with something made of plastic bags--but if you've got a collection of plastic bags, this would be a fun project to make and even more fun to play with.
