Method Baby and Method Kid: Squeaky Green

2008-03-28-method1.jpg

Now your babies and kids can enlist in the "fight against dirty" with a new line of personal care products from Method.

We knew Method products had a bit of a cult following, but we had no idea someone had devoted an entire blog to them. Reader Robert tipped us off to these new products and directed us to Method Lust which seems to have the inside scoop as even Method's own website hasn't publicized these lines yet.

These "Squeaky Green" lines will consist of hair and body wash, bubbly bath, diaper cream and body lotion for babies and 3-in1 shampoo and body wash for kids. The kids' line will have two scents: fuzzy peach and crisp apple while the baby line will be scented with rice milk and mallow.

Most of these products are 99% natural, hypoallergenic and pediatrician tested. The baby body lotion and diaper cream are 95% natural which, as a Method employee partially explained to Method Lust, includes active, but not naturally derived ingredients in the diaper cream including dimethicone which relieves skin irritation. We're sure more information will be forthcoming.

Another good thing: Method now uses bottles made of 100% recycled plastic.

If you get excited about Method, check in with Method Lust for all the Method news and fanfare. The official Method website is here. Originally posted by Carrie on Ohdeedoh.

why, why, why do baby products have to be scented? Why do we keep perfuming our babies? I really hoped Method would offer an unscented choice in this line. Someone please tell me they do. If not, I'm disappointed in them.
