We saw lots of mango wood at urbanest. Mango wood is a greener choice for furniture because it's essentially recycled post-industrial waste from the production of mangos. Mango wood, is, of course, imported, and is relatively heavy, so truly local wood may be a lower-carbon (but usually more expensive) choice.
