Tell us about your outdoor project and how you enjoy it: Our whole outdoor area is a true work in progress. On a very tight budget and with a love for vintage and upcycled things, we tried to make the most of my garden while not spending a fortune on it. This is the reality of making something of nothing and enjoying real life under the Australian sun near the beach while decorating/playing house with 3 kids and little cash!

How did you create it?
We hunted out old furniture mostly found on the the side of the road that we picked up for free or at auctions; placed furniture in the un-madeover yard under a huge fig tree and carved out a nice spot among the weeds for old side-of-the-road chairs; scoured for vintage cast iron benches to add to the ugly concrete areas.
