I wanted to ask AT readers esp. green and tech readers, if they have tried the new LED light bulbs yet? I ordered a selection off of ebay since the big box hardware stores don't carry them yet. I am wondering about the amount of light they put out? What the color of that light is like? I have seen a few of the blue and amber LED's in photo shoots of high end decorated kitchens. Has anyone put them into everyday use yet?
The lights use less than 3 watts of power so they are about 60% more efficient than the compact fluorscent lights. I never found the light color or output of the CFL to be very satisfying.
Has anyone tried these LED lights? Any comments?
