Earth Hour: Saturday, March 29, 8-9 PM

On March 29, 2008 at 8 p.m., we'll join millions of people around the world in making a statement about climate change by turning off the lights...
 
 

The event is Earth Hour, and while it's officially being honored in cities around the world from Copenhagen, Denmark to Phoenix, Arizona... and we see no reason not to participate if your city didn't officially join this year.

All you have to do is turn the lights off at 8 PM, local time, and leave them off for an hour. That's it.

Why not make an occasion out of it and invite a few friends over for dinner by candlelight?
