For all you folks who live in or near Austin, or will have the happy fortune of being here this weekend, be sure to check out the Austin Green Living & Home Products Expo. Austin is making more and more steps to help citizens live more greenly (just this month they've unveiled the high-speed metro rail line for commuters and offered $2 off for each CFL bought at the grocery store!), and this expo is a great way to learn all about specific ways to go even greener at home.
Being Austin, there will of course be live music... and a green fashion show full of affordable styles with a green twist. We're especially looking forward to the organic cooking demonstrations.
