The Gus* Design Group announced today that it will begin manufacturing all its upholstered seating with FSC-certified wood. Some of the new furniture designs include the GT Rocker, a modern rocking chair with a sleek, black metal base; the Richmond Sofa and Chair, upholstered with waterfowl down fill and exposed French seams; and the Ossington Coffee Table, made of a walnut-ply top and a choice of stainless steel or black powder-coated base for a minimal and utilitarian look...
It's always encouraging to see furniture manufacturers make a conscious effort to produce their furniture in a sustainable manner, and this is certainly a good start for Gus*.
The Gus* Modern furniture collection is designed in Canada but is sold at over 150 retailers across North America. They'll be showing their new FSC-certified furniture at the High Point Furniture Market in North Carolina from October 17 to 22.

A baby rocker needs arms. Those poor parents' backs are going to ache! Good looking chair though.
